Filvordi dlya pechati a4. They gave us solid recommendations for upgrades where needed (made a huge difference) and also saved us money in other areas. We could not be more satisfied with their work. Highly recommend them!!! They were able to handle all our flower and decoration needs, including the bouquets, decorating the ceremony space on the beach, the cocktail lounge area, and the dancing/reception space. Hi everyone, I have a 'film' project I put together. It is comprised of many mini scenes and clips. For each clip I have exported (FCP 6.06) an H264 (720x480) version and a Pro Res 422 (HQ) version.
The Pro Res was better for editing and the H264 was better for uploading to the intrawebs. Both versions play just fine, but now it's time to burn to DVD. I was not going to burn a blue ray just yet, so a SD DVD should be just fine.
I was going to use Toast/ DVD Studio Pro on my mac 10.5.8 Os to make a DVD of all the clips. Will the Pro Res footage look better than the H264, or since its compressed to SD is it better to use the H264 footage? Thanks in advance 🙂. Hey All, First off, I tried searching the forums for an answer to this and did not see anything relevant to my question. If I managed to overlook it, I am sorry and would appreciate a link to the thread. I am using FCPX 10.1.2 and am finalizing a video for a client. I need to create a gold master DVD for them to send off to the replicator, and I am hitting a wall creating the DVD title menu. The built in tools are pretty rubbish if you want to do anything custom and I haven't been able to find a good solution.
I basically need to be able to create a DVD with a customized menu including chapters. I need to be able to create my own background image and import it as well. I seem to be finding software that lets me do one of those things but not both. Is it possible to import an.img file to a program so the chapter markers are preserved or will I need to re-specify those and import an.mov file instead? Can you suggest what software I should use and how I should export my project from FCPX into the program? Feeling a bit lost and would love some advice.
Thanks so much! I personally haven't used anything other than iDVD (iLife '11) for years, should the need arise, even though I'm more than capable of working DVD SP (as a former trainer). It is THE easiest and fastest way to make an all out customised DVD at max quality, without the - IMHO - way too convoluted, overblown feature set (for what one needs 99.9% of the time) and handling of apps such as DVD SP or Encore. Check Ebay or an old Mac and get it for a few bucks or even for free. Set the project to 'Professional Quality' and simply drag'n'drop your way to a nice looking DVD.:) BTW, if it's to be played on a BD-player, you can use FCP X to make what I call a 'Mini-BD' disk. Which is an HD version of your movie burnt onto a regular DVD-R as an AVCHD clip.
Only you're limited to around 30 mins. And playback only works on a BD-player. I'm in the same boat. FACT: 95% of my consumer clients want DVDs and BDs. They want something physical in their hands.
Even if its a digital copy on a flash drive. I'm just starting in FCP X coming from Sony Vegas. Dynamite autopower 300a manual. Vegas came with DVDA and was easy to make customized menus with chapter stops etc. I even use Encore CS6 for more upscale DVDs and BDs. FCP X has nothing in the way of DVD creation that I would give to a client. So I too need a good solution for creating great looking DVD menus etc. Ken Bennett Video Adventures Capturing Your Life's Adventures!
